INDIANS AMONG FASTEST GROWING FOREIGN STUDENTS IN THE US

The Open Doors survey, the annual study of international student enrollments in US universities, has reported a 7% decline in foreign students enrolling for the first time at a US institution. Overall, numbers are up by about 3%, students from India are 17% of all foreign students in US colleges. Foreign students make up a little over 5% of all students in college/ university in the US.
